Well first things first, sorry I've been totally dead on dA lately. My scanners broken, and I'm too lazy to take pictures of stuff. I always take forever to submit journals though. I mean I've been a member of dA for two years now?? Maybe three...?? And I've only submitted a total of ten journals (not including this one). Yeah, so sorry I'll try and work on that haha.
Anyway, today I get to have a free day from school. It was a total accident but boy am I happy.
So here's the story:
Last night I was at this cookout thing with one of my best friends Claire, and right before we went I was eating these corn chips, and somehow one of them managed to break one of my bracket. Well technically it's not broken, but the wire is completely warped upwards into my gum... it hurts really bad. Oh, and for those of you who don't have braces, a bracket is the wire that holds everything together. Long story short: I really effed up my braces. So finally my dad and I talk and I'm asking him if he can take me to the orthodontist tomorrow morning (that would be today) and he says sure, and that we'll leave around 9am. :yeah: And i was like YES!! I GET TO SLEEP IN!!!. Well end up waking up on my own, so I kinda freak thinking that my dad forgot. I still don't know what time it is, but I trudge upstairs to my dad's room and he's not there. So I look out the window and my dad's car is gone too.
I still don't know where he is.
JK lol so I go down to get my cell phone and it says its 10:00am and I have a text message from my dad saying: Call me when you wake up. SO, that's exactly what I do. And he answers to tell me: "I went to work at seven and called the orthodontist on my way there, they say they won't have time for you until 1:00pm and I'm not going to be home till 12:00 so looks like you get a free day." AND I WAS SOOOOOOO HAPPY. .....mainly because I didn't do any of my homework... >.> <.< Haha but also I just got to lay around and do nothing. But there was some huge french test today so i'm not looking forward to making that up haha.
Well sorry for the long boring story, I don't really have much to talk about these days... or really ever. hmm... I should work on that.
